Waste Incinerator DiagramHow to Use a Venn Diagram to Compare and Contrast Two Individuals
To be able to obtain an idea of how to use a Venn Diagram to compare and contrast two people, you have to get a grasp of what a Venn Diagram is and how it works. Obviously, most of us know it is supposed to help us see that the relations between things and place them in regard to one another. However, does it do this?
If you understand what a Venn Diagram is and why it's used, you are going to start seeing how it can be employed to show us how to use it to compare and contrast two individuals. Basically, a Venn Diagram is a diagram that uses distinct circles or flat lines to show us the different areas of relationships. Some diagrams are made up of a single circle, while others are made up of many different circles. We will concentrate on the two main methods of making a Venn Diagram.
First, a Venn Diagram could be drawn by grouping similar objects together in one area. Thenthey can be placed at either end of the horizontal line to create a vertical line. A vertical line is then utilized to show the place where two different objects come into contact. A Good Example of a Venn Diagram is shown below:
The next method to make a Venn Diagram would be to get different groups of items positioned at opposite ends of the horizontal line. For instance, let us say you were to draw a Venn Diagram of the family. The diagram could be made up of circles using the name of each child in the middle of the line.
The horizontal line then would show the relationship between the children's names. Next, you would take the names of the parents, put them in the middle of the flat line, then place one circle in each circle to reveal the different members of the household. For example, if the household contains six people, you'd draw circles to show the various members of their household in the titles of every person. These circles could go from left to right from the diagram.
In order to get an idea of how to use a Venn Diagram to compare and contrast two people, you need to know how to draw a Venn Diagram. To begin with, you need to take a sheet of paper and write down the titles of the two individuals you need to compare. Now, use a pencil to indicate the areas of the paper that will be used to create the Venn Diagram.
Draw the different regions of the Venn Diagram, including the flat line which will connect the groups of those 2 objects. Then, write the titles of the people in each circle, keeping in mind the names of the folks will be in the middle of the lines. Finally, put the children's titles at the center of this line so that the children's names are the same as the parents' names at the diagram. Use a pencil to mark the areas where two people float or come together.
With this technique, now you can start to comprehend how to use a Venn Diagram to compare and contrast two individuals. Just remember that the vertical lines from the diagram will show the lines that join two different circles, along with the horizontal lines will reveal the areas where two distinct circles meet.
